Gear
What Should You Bring to Moab Rocks?
Gear choice is always a tough one—carry too much and you’re needlessly weighing yourself down, too little and you may not have what you need when the unexpected occurs. To help you decide what makes the cut, we’ve put together three lists of items we would bring if we were racing.
The first is a list of mandatory items that you are expected to have with you at all times when out on course.
The second list is made up of gear that will make your race more comfortable and help you deal with minor injuries (of course, we do have medics on standby at all times for any mishaps that may occur).
And the third is a list of parts that we recommend bringing with you to the race. Moab is home to numerous well-equipped bike shops, but even they can’t guarantee they’ll have all the parts needed to fix every bike in every situation.
Before, during and after each stage, Velofix Ogden will be on site for repairs and will have a selection of replacement parts available.
